Following a number of requests from teachers who need more time to prepare their students to contribute to the current FuturEnergia competitions, we are glad to announce that the competitions’ deadline is extended from 26 April 2009 to 31 May 2009.
The “Energy Scouts” and “Design Competition”, which provide teachers and students with the opportunity to work on energy-related themes, are open to schools based in the European Union Member States, Candidate and EFTA Countries. More about the competitions.
We also decided to reward the class that submits the highest number of entries to one of the competitions. There will be two winning classes, one for the month of April 2009 and a second one for the month of May 2009.
Entries coming from the same teachers’ account will be tracked down. The class which submits the highest number of entries to one of the competitions wins. A collective award will be given to the whole classroom (for 25 students and the coordinating teacher).
A collective prize consists of 26 iPod shuffle (25 for pupils of the class and one for the coordinating teacher).
