Chat 4: Photo-gallery
On 31 January 2008, eleven schools gathered online for a chat that focused on how to turn a desert into a fertile land by using plastics. The chat guest was Mrs. Antonia Morales Perez, from Spain, Subdirector, Technical Service & Development Laboratory, BU Polyolefins Repsol, President of CIPA (International Committee of Plastics in Agriculture), and President of
CEPLA (Spanish Committee of Plastics in Agriculture).
The chat was in English. Before gathering online the participating schools were provided with background information that helped prepare the chat and get familiar with the theme. The chat activity aimed to enhance common knowledge and relate it to lessons of sciences, geography, history and language.
