In 2009 - 2010, FuturEnergia hosted a number of online debates, which called out to high level experts and schools to discuss several subjects which covered energy savings, sustainable development, science education, environment, and innovation. In this section, schools can find chat transcripts of these online debates.

The chat activities listed on this page took place from November 2008 to May 2009. Their main purpose was to facilitate information exchange between a number of experts and schools in Europe willing to find out more about energy-related themes, how design and materials influence energy consumption and contribute to finding sustainable energy solutions.
A “chat” is an online tool enabling real-time communication. Participants can sit in front of their computers and “chat.” They may be in the same room, building or in different locations anywhere around the globe. People type messages to each other using their keyboards, and the messages appear immediately on the screens of all the participants.
