- Identifying examples of energy efficiency and renewable energy in nearby surroundings: school, family, local community
- Imagining and finding other examples of energy efficiency and renewable energy
- Reading previous contributions published on the website to get a picture of the whole energy train story
- Preparing the written composition/text (using a word processor) and the artwork (either a picture or a drawing, in jpg or gif format)
- Uploading both text and image on the futurenergia.org website (go to the submission form).
Pedagogical and social value
- Raising awareness on the role and impact of energy in our lives
- Inspiring changes and influencing students’ behaviours in terms of saving energy
- Encouraging students to persuade their local communities and families to save energy
